"Amidst Deepest Despair, Light Everlasting" FFXIV Venat Fanart | Digital painting

This piece took near a month to make, I kept stopping and coming back, but also learning new and better techniques for painting in photoshop. I was working on this, my teaser trailer, and school work. This turned out really good, and I like it.

The character is Venat, from Final Fantasy XIV, she is a character that endured torment and defied the odds for a better future, so she has to be one of my favorite characters. I myself have not had an easy life, and often times it has been hard for me to find the will to go on. Which is why I drew this... because I enjoy the character and to also give hope to others when it appears as though there is only darkness.
