Mascot Concept Art

Many artists have an OC or mascot character. I chose to redesign mine. I value knowledge and creativity, So I wanted to incorporate scholarly and academic aspects in my design. Dress shirts and dresspants were to project the an aura of formailty. The Sash around his neck is actually a graduation sash, to further carry that theme of education. With the third outfit, I wanted to go with a bit of a field researcher, the cargo pants were a bit informal, but I was trying to add a sense of roughness and humility to the character.

Backstory: He grew up having strange dreams which later he realized that his dreams transported him to alternate dimensions. When he grew older and learned about meditation, an angel presented him with a tome and tasked him with being an observer and recorder, writing and sharing the stories of the places and people he meets.

This was a fun and nice side project to work on.
