Room Design | 2019 University project Alt. Projects

In my university, a semester long project we had was using Autodesk Maya model a room. Due to COVID-19, we were sent home and thusly had no access to the computer labs. The professor did provide us two alternate projects of either a drawing the room from different points of view, or designing a character that would reside in the room.

The room's inspiration is 1300s-1400s premedival era, alchemist's lab/witch's lair. The character, Al Chemie also draws inspiration from early alchemists and scientist. Despite doing both alt projects and still being rejected, I enjoyed working on this piece.

This piece is a perfect example of me as an artist slowly finding my art style and aesthetic when drawing. While I am still growing with every piece, these however remain as aome of my favorite pieces that I have done.
